Assisted in delivery of 120+ newborns in one the largest hospitals in Staten Island. Performed tests on newborns after birth to ensure well-being. Worked closely with parents to provide instructions on caring for their newborn outside of the hospital, responding to messages within 2 hours. Performed triage for children born in adverse conditions. Ensured 100% HIPPA compliance of entire nursing staff through regular education and seminars.

Worked with newborns in NICU, providing care to assist in moving 86% newborns out of NICU within 3 days. Built trust with parents, updating them 2-3 times per day on the care issued to their children. Oversaw care for over 10 newborns on any given shift. Provided detailed instructions to parents to ensure proper care for newborns after their discharge from the NICU.

Administered primary care and assessments for outpatient procedures at the dermatology practice. Educated 6-7 patients per day, and provided instructions for post-op care. Worked closely with Dr. Lamb to provide plan-of-care for burn victims to ensure mental and physical well-being. Assessed patient vitals, and performed about 3 blood draws for lab work each shift.
